Doctoral Scholarships at Graduate Institute of International Studies and Development Studies

The Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies is a new Institute created from the Graduate Institute of International Studies (HEI) and the Graduate Institute of Development Studies (IUED).
A substantial number of scholarships is available for the Fall 2008, including:
- two one-year Pierre du Bois scholarships for Latin-American students admitted to the International History and Politics Ph.D. programme (a renewal is possible according to thesis progress)
- four 4-year Kathryn W. Davis scholarships for students admitted to any Ph.D. programme of the Institute: two are intended for students of any nationality having completed a course of studies in an American university, two for Muslim students (four-year scholarships).
The Graduate Institute’s scholarships provide a living allowance of CHF 18,000 (CHF 20,000 in the case of the Pierre du Bois scholarships) per year and exempt students from tuition fees.
